RESOLUTION NO. 5396
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA ACCEPTING
A GIFT OF MONEY FOR RESTORATION OF THE
PRIVY ON THE MAGEE HOUSE PROPERTY.
WHEREAS;, the Welcome Wagon Newcomers Club of Carlsbad wishes
to present the City of Carlsbad the sum of $150.00 for the
restoration of the privy on the Magee House property; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept this gift pursuant
to Sections 37354 and 37355 of the California Government Code:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City Council accepts the gift of money for
the restoration of the privy on the Magee House property on
behalf of all the citizens of the City of Carlsbad.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Carlsbad City Council held the 2nd day of May I
1978, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES : Councilmen Frazee, Skotnicki, Anear and Councilwoman Casler
NOES : None
ABSENT: None ,,.. ----
