RESOLUTION NO. 5411
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA ACCEPTING A GIFT OF EQUIPMENT FOR THE AUDIO VISUAL
DEPARTMENT OF THE CARLSBAD CITY LIBRARY.
WHEREAS, the Friends of the Library of the Carlsbad City Library
wish to present the Carlsbad City Library with a Paulmar Model 9000 I1
film cleaning and inspecting machine worth $3,295 for use in the Audio
Visual Departrnent; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept this gift pursuant to
Sections 37354 and 37355 of the California Government Code:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City Council accepts the gift of equipment for the
Audio Visual Department of the Carlsbad City Library on behalf of all
the citizens of the City of Carlsbad.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad
City Council held the 16th day of May 1978, by the
following vote, to wit:
AYES : Councilmen Packard, Skotnicki, Anear and Councilwoman Casler NOES : None
ABSENT : None
