RESOLUTION NO. 5429
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 5373, ISSUING A CERTIFICATE OF CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY TO ROLLAND D. AND EVELYN D. STOKES DBA ARRO CAB, TO INCREASE THE NUMBER OF TAXICABS AUTHORIZED FROM ONE TO TWO.
WHEREAS, on April 18, 1978 the City Council by the adoption
sf Resolution No. 5373, approved the issuance of a Certificate of
Zonvenience and Necessity to Rolland D. and Evelyn D. Stokes dba
lrro Cab to operate one taxicab in the City of Carlsbad; and
WHEREAS, Arro Cab has requested approval to increase the
number of taxicabs authorized from one to two;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
Df Carlsbad as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That Section 3 (b) of Resolution No. 5373 be amended
to read as follows:
"TWO taxicabs are authorized"
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City
of Carlsbad, California on the 16th day of May I
1978, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES : Councilmen Packard, Skotnicki, Anear and
Councilwoman Casler NOES : None
ABSENT : None
