RESOLUTION NO. 5452
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, RESCINDING A CONTRACT
ORIZING AND DIRECTING THE PURCHASING AGENT TO INVITE BIDS FOR A k TON PICKUP.
AWARDED TO DEIS TRUCK AND EQUIPMENT AND AUTH-
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California,
bas determined that it is necessary and in the public interest to
,escind the contract awarded to Deis Truck and Equipment, Inc.
'or the purchase of a right hand drive vehicle; and
WHEREAS, specifications for said k ton pickup have been pre-
lared and have been filed in the office of the City Clerk of the
Zity of Carlsbad and are incorporated herein by reference;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Zarlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the contract heretofore awarded on May 16, 1978,
iursuant to Resolution No. 5419, for the purchase of a right hand
lrive vehicle is hereby rescinded.
3. That the Purchasing Agent of the City of Carlsbad is
iereby authorized and directed to proceed to publish in accordance
vith law, Notice to Vendors inviting bids for the equipment
iereinabove described, in accordance with specifications hereinabovr
*eferred to.
