RESOLUTION NO. 5456
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA ACCEPTING
A GIFT OF A FLAG POLE AND A FLAG AT HOLIDAY PARK.
WHEREAS, the North Coast Junior Women's Club of Carlsbad
wishes to present the City of Carlsbad a 25-foot, 3-section
removable flag pole and a flag to be used on special occasions
and to be located at the north end of Holiday Park; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept this gift pursuant
to Sections 37354 and 37355 of the California Government Code:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City Council accepts the gift of the flag pole
and the flag for use at Holiday Park on behalf of all the citizens
of the City of Carlsbad.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Carlsbad City Council held the 7nth day of ,
1978, by the following vote, to wit:
