RESOLUTION NO. 5539
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA ACCEPTING A GIFT OF A CLOCK FOR THE CARLSBAD CITY LIBRARY.
WHEREAS, Georgia Nelson wishes to present the Carlsbad City
Library with a Seth Thomas wall clock with a value of $98.00 to be
hung over the adult circulation desk; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept this gift pursuant
to Sections 37354 and 37355 of the California Government Code:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Carl sbad as fol 1 ows :
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City Council accepts the gift of equipment for
the Carlsbad City Library on behalf of all the citizens of the City
of Carlsbad.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Carlsbad City Council held the 3rd day of October , 1978, by the
following vote, to wit:
AYES : Councilmen Packard, Skotnicki , Anear, Lewis and
NOES : None Counci 1 woman Cas1 er
ABSENT: None
