RESOLUTION NO. 5554
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THF, CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING BIDS AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION
OF CONTRACT 1055A FOR CLEANING OF DIGESTION TANKS NO. 1 AND 3
AT THE ENCINA WATER POLLUTION CONTROL FACILITY
WHEREAS, bids have been received by the City of Carlsbad for cleaning of
Digestion Tanks No. 1 and 3 at the Encina Water Pollution Control Facility,
Contract 1055A; and,
WHEREAS, the low bid received for this construction was submitted by Don
Hubbard Contracting Co. in the amount of $65,280; and,
WHEREAS, sufficient funds were authorized in FY 1978-79 for this project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. The bid of $65,280 by Don Hubbard Contracting Co. of Encinitas for
Contract 1055A for cleaning of Digestion Tanks No. 1 and 3 at the Encina Water
Pollution Control Facility is hereby accepted and the Mayor and City Clerk are
hereby authorized to execute a contract therefor.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
at a regular meeting held the 1 7th day of October , 1978, by the follow-
ing vote, to wit:
