RESOLUTION NO. 5558
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA ACCEPTING
A GIFT OF ONE (1) RESUSCI-BABY TO BE
USED DURING CARDIOPULMONARY RESUSCITATION
CLASSES.
WHEREAS, the Elks' Lodge of Oceanside has donated to the
2arlsbad Fire Department the gift of one (1) Resusci-Baby for
cardiopulmonary resuscitation classes; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept this gift
pursuant to Sections 37354 and 37355 of the California Government
Code :
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City Council accepts the gift of one (1)
Resusci-Baby on behalf of the Oceanside Elks! Lodge.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Carlsbad City Council held the 17th day of October I
1978, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Packard, Skotnicki, Lewis and
NOES : None Counci lwoman Cas1 er
ABSENT: Councilman Anear
