RESOLUTION NO. 5571
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF CARLSBAD AND C M ENGINEERING
ASSOCIATES FOR THE DESIGN OF A MIXING SYSTEM FOR DIGESTER
NO. 2 AT THE ENCINA WATER POLLUTION CONTROL FACILITY
CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THAT CERTAIN
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California,
as follows:
I. That certain amendment to the agreement between the City of Carlsbad
and C M Engineering Associates for design of a mixing system for Digester No. 2
at the Encina Water Pollution Control Facility, a copy of which is attached
hereto, marked Exhibit "A", and made a part hereof, is hereby approved.
2. The Mayor of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed
to execute said amendment for and on behalf of the City of Carlsbad.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council
held the 7th day of November , 1978, by the following vote,
to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Skotnicki , Anear, Lewis and
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilman Packard

AMENDMENT NO. I
TO AGREEMENT FOR DESIGN OF A MIXING
SYSTEM FOR DIGESTER NO. 2 AT THE
ENCINA WATER POLLUTION CONTROL FACILITY
SHE AGREEMENT for Design of a Mixing System for Digester No. 2 at the
Encina Water Pollution Control Facility in the City of Carlsbad, California,
dated December 6, 1977, consists of eighteen articles which are to remain in
full force and effect except,as amended herein.
AMENDMENTS
ARTICLE I - Scope of Consultant Services
Add: "6. Redesign the' draft tube assembly for floor supports rather than
roof supports.
Redesign the piping and support system to accommodate MD pumps
rather than Sutorbui It pumps."
Ad;: ''7.
ARTICLE V - Guaranteed Maximum Fee
Change "$4,600.00" to read "$5,973.33".
