RESOLUTION NO. 5605
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, TO AMEND RESOLUTION #5513, SETTING THE TAX RATE FOR THE 1978-79 FISCAL YEAR.
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has received
.dditional information from the County Assessor concerning the
ssessed valuation of the City of Carlsbad whereas the tax rate of
ix cents for Sewer Bond Interest and Redemption in District #1
s insufficient to provide enough funds to redeem Sewer Bonds and
nterest; now therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the
.ity of Carlsbad, as follows:
SECTION 1: For the fisca
,978, there is hereby assessed
!ach $100.00 of assessed value
year 1978-79, commencing July 1,
levied, and ordered collected upon
of taxable property within the
ieneral tax district no. 1, which shall consist of all taxable
)roperty within the City of Carlsbad except the taxable property
n general district no.2, a tax rate of seven cents for each $lOO.OC
'or Sewer Bond and Interest redemption.
SECTION 2: This resolution is a resolution amending resolutior
IO. 5513, a resolution of the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
ietting the tax rate for the 1978-79 fiscal year.
Section 3: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
*esolution and cause the same to be published, as required by
iection 36936.1 of the Government Code, once within fifteen (15)
lays of its passage in the Carlsbad Journal, a newspaper of general
:irculation printed and published in the City of Carlsbad and shall
'urnish two certified copies of this resolution to the county auditc
if the County of San Diego pursuant to Government Code Section 51511
