RESOLUTION NO. 5663
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A GIFT OF
PAIRED PERSONS A TELECOMMUNICATOR FOR DEAF AND HEARING IM-
WHEREAS, the Lions Club of Carlsbad wishes to present a tele-
communicator for deaf and hearing impaired persons; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept this gift pursuant
to Sections 37354 and 37355 of the California Government Code:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Carlsbad as follows:
1. That the recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City Council accepts the gift of a telecommuni-
cator for deaf and hearing impaired persons on behalf of all the
citizens of the City of Carlsbad.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Carlsbad City Council held on the 6th day of February ,1979,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Packard, Skotnicki, Anear, Lewis and
NOES : None Councilwoman Cas1 er
ABSENT : None Kdc&d RONALD C. PACKARD, Mayor
