RESOLUTION NO. 5667
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ORDERING THE ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY KNOWN AS THE "TOOTSIE K RANCH" (EAST CARLSBAD 2.27) ANNEXATION.
WHEREAS, a petition of landowners was submitted to the Local Agency Forma-
tion Commission for the annexation of territory to the City of Carlsbad; and
WHEREAS, the Commission has determined that all landowners of the territor:
to be annexed have consented in writing to the proposed annexation; and
WHEREAS, the Commission has determined that the territory includes 186.7
acres and is uninhabited; and a description of the exterior boundaries of the
territory to be annexed is attached hereto as Exhibit "B"; and
WHEREAS, the Commission has conditionally approved the annexation, desig-
nated the City of Carlsbad as conducting authority, and authorized the City to
annex the territory without notice, hearing or election; and
WHEREAS, as a condition of annexation the Commission in its Resolution
approving the annexation required the description of the territory to be
annexed be modified to conform with Exhibit IIB".
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the description of the exterior boundaries of the territory to
be annexed have been modified to conform to Exhibit IIB'I.
3. That the territory described in Exhibit "B" is hereby ordered annexed
to the City of Carlsbad.
