RESOLUTION NO. 5691
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHOR-
IZING THE CITY CLERK TO INVITE BIDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
OF BEACH ACCESS STEPS AT THE NORTH END OF OCEAN STREET
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has determined it is
necessary and in the public interest to construct beach access steps at the
north end of Ocean Street; and
WHEREAS, specifications for the furnishing of al I labor, material, tools,
equipment, transportat ion and other expenses necessary or i nci denta I for sa i d
project,, Contract No. 1058, have been prepared by and filed in the Public Works
Department of the City of Carlsbad and are incorporated by reference herein;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbac
as fol lows:
I. The above recitations are true and correct.

The specifications as presented are hereby approved.
The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and di-
rected -to proceed to publish, in accordance with law, notice to contractors in-
viting Ibids for the construction of beach access steps at the north end of
Ocean S-treet in accordance with the specifications hereinabove referred to.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
California, at a regular meeting held the 6th day of March , 1979, by
the following vote, to wit:
AYES : Councilmen Packard, Skotnicki, Anear, Lewis and
NOES : None Counci 1 woman Cas1 er
