RESOLUTION NO. 5694
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA,
SUPPORTING PASSAGE OF SCA-2 BY THE
CALIFORNIA LEGISLATURE.
WHEREAS, Senate Constitutional Amendment-2 has been intro-
duced into the California Legislature; and
WHEREAS, if approved by the legislature and adopted by
the people, SCA-2 would prevent the inter-district bussing of
school children.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the Carlsbad City Council supports SCA-2 and
urges its passage by the legislature.
2. That copies of this resolution be forwarded to
appropriate legislative representatives.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Carlsbad City Council held on the 6th day of March I
1979, hy the following vote, to wit:
AYES : Councilmen Packard, Skotnicki, Anear, Lewis and
NOES : None
Councilwoman Casler
ABSENT : None
