RESOLUTION NO. 571 0
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHOR- IZING THE CITY CLERK TO INVITE BIDS FOR RECOATING OF SKY- LINE RESERVOIR 1.5 MILLION GALLON TANK - CONTRACT No. io63
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has determined it is
necessary and in the public interest to recoat Skyline Reservoir; and
WHEREAS, plans and specifications for the furnishing of all labor, materi-
al, tools, equipment, transportation and other expense necessary or incidental
for said project, Contract No. 1063, have been prepared and filed in the Public
Works Department of the City of Carlsbad and are incorporated by reference
herein;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the plans and specifications as presented are hereby approved.
3. That the City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and
directed to proceed to publish, in accordance with law, notice to contractors
inviting bids for the recoating of Skyline Reservoir, in accordance with plans
and specifications hereinabove referred to.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
at a regular meeting held the 20th day of March , 1979, by the
following vote, to wit:
AYES : Councilmen Packard, Skotnicki, Anear, Lewis and
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
