RESOLUTION NO 5725
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, DIRECTING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO PREPARE AN IMPARTIAL ANALYSIS OF
THE PROPOSED PUBLIC FACILITIES FEE ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, a Special Municipal Election is to be held in the
City of Carlsbad on June 5, 1979, at which there will be
submitted to the qualified voters of said City, the following
Measure, to wit:
SHALL ORDINANCE NO. 6059 BE ADOPTED "DING TITLE 5 OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADDITION OF CHAPTER 5.09 TO IMPOSE A LICENSE TAX ON ALL NEW CONSTRUCTION IN THE CITY FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING PUBLIC FACILITIES,
WE EAS, the City Council desires to have an impartial
analysis prepared showing the effect of such Ordinance on the
existing law and showing the operation of such Ordinance;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, DECLARED, DETERMINED
AND ORDERED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad as
follows :
SECTION 1. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 5011
of the Elections Code of the State of California, this City
Council does direct the City Attorney to prepare an impartial
analysis of the Ordinance.
