RESOLUTION NO. 5756
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING BIDS AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION
OF CONTmCT NO. 1063 FOR THE RECOATING OF SKYLINE RESEFiVOIR
WHEREAS, bids have been received by the City of Carlsbad for recoating
Skyline Reservoir, Contract No. 1063; and
WKEREAS, the low bid received for this project was submitted by Valley
Sandblasting & Coating of Hemet in the amount of $18,840; and
WHEREAS, funds are available in Account No. 1-51-3970 for this project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad as follows:
1. The above recitations are true and correct.
2. The bid of $18,840 by Valley Sandblasting & Coating Go., Inc. for
Contract No. 1063 for recoating of Skyline Reservoir is hereby accepted, and
the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a contract therefor.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
at a regular meeting held the 1 st day of May , 1979, by the fol-
lowing vote, to wit:
AYES : Councilmen Packard, Skotnicki, Anear, Lewis and
NOES : None Councilwoman Casler
ABSENT : None
