RESOLUTION NO. 5758
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIAy APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHOR- IZING THE CITY CLERK TO INVITE BIDS FOR THE 1978-79 STREET RESURFACING PROGRAM - CONTRACT NO. 1065.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has determined it is
iecessary and in the public interest to resurface various City streets during
the 1978-79 fiscal year; and
WHEREAS, plans and specifications for the furnishing of all labor,materials,
tools, equipment, transportation and other expenses necessary or incidental for
said project, Contract No.1065, have been prepared and filed in the Public Works
Department of the City of Carlsbad and are incorporated by reference herein;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,

1. The above recitations are true and correct.

The plans and specifications are hereby approved.
The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and
iirected to proceed to publish, in accordance with law, notice to contractors
inviting bids for resurfacing of various City streets, in accordance with the
plans and specifications hereinabove referred to.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Counci 1 of the City of Carlsbad
It a regular meeting held the 1st day of May 1979 by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES : Councilmen Packard, Skotnicki, Anear, Lewis and
NOES : None Councilwoman Casler
ABSENT : None
