RESOLUTION NO. 5759
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
IZING THE CITY CLERK TO INVITE BIDS FOR RESTORATION OF
CALIFORNIA, APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHOR-
STORM DAMAGED STREETS - PORTIONS OF TAMARACK AVENUE, EL
CAMINO REAL AND PALISADES DRIVE - CONTRACT NO. 1066
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has determined it is
necessary and in the public interest to repair and clean up storm damaged
streets; and
WHEREAS, plans and specifications for the furnishing of all labor, materials
tools, equipment, transportation and other expenses necessary or incidental for
said project, Contract No. 1066, have been prepared and filed in the Public Works
Department of the City of Carlsbad and are incorporated by reference herein;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
as follows:
1. The above recitations are true and correct.
2. The plans and specifications are hereby approved.
3. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed
to proceed to publish, in accordance with law, notice to contractors inviting
bids for restoration of damaged streets, in accordance with the plans and
specifications hereinabove referred to.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
at a regular meeting held the 1 st day of May , 1979 by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES : Councilmen Packard, Skotnicki, Anear, Lewis and
NOES : None
