RESOLUTION NO. 5762
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, RESCINDING A CONTRACT AWARDED TO SAN DIEGO EDUCATIONAL FACILITIES, INC. AND ACCEPTING A BID AND AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF A MODULAR UNIT.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, has deter-
lined that it is necessary and in the public interest to rescind the contract
[warded to San Diego Educational Facilities, Inc. for the purchase of a Modular
hit;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,

1. That the above recitiations are true and correct.
2. That the contract heretofore awarded on March 6, 1979, pursuant to Reso-
lution 5696, for the purchase of a Modular Unit is hereby rescinded.
3. That the bid of Bert's Office Trailers; 1143 East Main Street; El Cajon,
:A 92021 is hereby accepted and the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute
1 contract in the amount of $12,503.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council on the
1st day of May 1979, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES : Councilmen Packard, Skotnicki, Anear, Lewis and
NOES : NONE Councilwoman Casler
ABSENT : NONE
