RESOLUTION N0.5824
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, CREATING AND ESTABLISHING A GAS TAX CONSTRUCTION RESERVE FUND.
WHEREAS, the City Council carries over funds from year to year
in the Special Gas Tax Street Improvement Fund for the purpose of
accumulating funds for capital projects; and
WHEREAS, such funds have been carried over as unappropriated
balances or continuing appropriations, and the City Council desires
to appropriate funds for such a purpose;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. There is hereby created a fund to be known as the Gas
Tax Construction Reserve Fund.
2. The City Council from time to time may appropriate funds
to, or expend or transfer funds from the Gas Tax Construction
Reserve Fund to the Special Gas Tax Street Improvement Fund as
the Council deems necessary.
3. There is hereby appropriated from the unappropriated
Special Gas Tax Street Improvement Fund balances the sum of
one hundred ninety thousand dollars ($190,000) for deposit in the
Gas Tax Construction Reserve Fund.
4. There is hereby appropriated from the continuing
appropriation account of the Special Gas Tax Street Improvement
Fund the sum of one hundred fifty-one thousand dollars ($151,000)
for deposit in the Gas Tax Construction Reserve Fund.

:ity Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, held on the
25th day of June , 1979, by the following vote,
LO wit:
AYES Mayor Packard, Councilmen Skotnicki, Lewis, Anear and
Councilwoman Casler NOES None
ABSENT None
