HomeMy WebLinkAbout1979-08-21; City Council; Resolution 5908i 1 2 3 4 5 E 7 E 5 I( 11 1: 1: 11 11 I( 1' 11 1 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 27 28 RESOLUTION NO. 5908 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, FIXING THE AMOUNT OF REVENUE FROM PROPERTY TAXES NECESSARY TO PAY THE BONDED INDEBTEDNESS OF THE "1962 SEWER BONDS, SERIES A, By AND C" AND "1966 LIBRARY BONDS" FOR 1979-80 FISCAL YEAR. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad annually ,. 1x as the amount of revenue required from property taxes to 'und the city debt service funds, and WHEREAS, the annual revenue requirements within each bond 'und are dependent upon the beginning balance of each fund, and WHEREAS, the beginning balance of the Library Bond fund s sufficient to fund the Library Bond requirements during the 1 979-80 fiscal year, and a revenue of approximately $130,000 rill be necessary to fund the Sewer Bond require!ments for the .979-80 fiscal year; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the :ity of Carlsbad as follows: Section 1: The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, )ursuant to Section 51508 of the Government Code of State of :alifornia, does hereby fix the amount of revenue from property :axes necessary to pay the bonded indebtedness of the "City of :alrsbad, 1966 Library Bonds" for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1979, and ending June 30 1980, be in the amount $0.00. Section 2: The City Council of the City of Carlsad, pursuant Lo Section 51508 of the Government Code of the State of California, loes hereby fix the amount of revenue from property taxes necessary to pay the bonded indebtedness of the "City of Carlsbad 1962 Sewer Bonds, Series A, By and C" for the fiscal year commencing 1 2 z 4 E ” E 7 E 9 ZC 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 0 8 July 1, 1979, and ending June 30, 1980, to be in the amount of $130,000. Section 3: That the total amount of revenue from property taxes necessary for all purposes pursuant to Section 51508 of the Government Code of the State of California, and of sections 1 and 2 hereinabove is $130,000. Section 4: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution and cause the same to be published, as required by Section 36936.1 of the Government Code, once within fifteen (15) days of its passage in the Carlsbad Journal, a newspaper of general circulation printed and published in the City of Carlsbad.
