RESOLUTION NO. 5 9 4 7
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING BID AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF CONTRACT NO. 1062 FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE LIBRARY MEZZANINE EXTERIOR STAIRWAY
WHEREAS, a bid has been received by the City of Carlsbad for the construc-
tion of the Library Mezzanine Exterior Stairway, Contract No. 1062; and
WHEREAS, the low bid received for this construction was submitted by
Michael Straub, General Contractor, of Carlsbad in the amount of $11,130.00; and
WHEREAS, funds are available in Account No. 01-170-3071 for this project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
as follows:
1. The above recitations are true and correct.
2. The bid of $11,130.00 by Michael Straub of Carlsbad for Contract No.
1062 for the construction of the Library Mezzanine Exterior Stairway is hereby
accepted and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a con-
tract therefor.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
at a regular meeting held the 3nd day of October , 1979, by the follow-
ing vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Packard, Anear, Lewis and
NOES: None Councilwoman Cas1 er
ABSENT: Counci lman Skotni cki
