A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CAIILSW, CALIFOH", DENYING
A CLAIM AGAINST THE CITY.
WHEREAS, on September 18, 1979 Ethel E. Carri, Frank Carri, Jr. and
Susan Carri Prince, through their attorney, filed a claim against the
City of Carlsbad in the atmunts of $2,000,000, $1,000,000 and $1,000,000
respectively; and
WHERFPS, State law requires that the City Council consider all
claims and take action to approve, approve in part, or deny said claim;
NOW, THEXB?ORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct,
2, That the City Council has considered the facts and circurns-ces
of the abve-described claim,
3. That the City Council hereby denies said claim.
4. That the City Attorney is directed to foward a copy of this
resolul5on to the clabt and to the City's insurance carrier and to
canply with all other notice requirerents provided by law.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad, California at a regular meeting held on the 2nd
1979 by the following vote, to wit:
