RESOLUTION NO. 5993
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, CREATING AND ESTABLISHING THE HOUSING ADVISORY COMMITTEE AND APPOINTING THE MEMBERS THERETO.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
California, by adoption of Ordinance No. 1224, has assigned the
duties of the Housing Commission to the Community Development
Committee; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
California, desires that the previously-appointed members of the
Housing Commission continue to serve in an advisory capacity
until such time as the Housing Element of the General Plan is
comp let ed .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the following citizens are appointed as members
of the Housing Advisory Committee:
Jesus Mariz Roy Sanchez Dillard Littlefield
Jeff Crisman Thelma Hayes Eva Carney
C. Kenneth Roush
3. That the appointments are to be for a term concurrent
with the existence of the commi-tee.
4. That the committee shall serve in an advisory capacity
to the Carlsbad Housing and Redevelopment Advisory Committee on
matters relating to the Housing Element of the General Plan.
5. That the Housing Advisory Committee shall terminate
upon Council adoption of the Housing Element of the General Plan.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the
mber Nave Carlsbad City Council, held on the 20th day of
1979, by the following vote, to wit:
