RESOLUTION NO. 6007
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, RESCINDING A CONTRACT AWARDED TO SAN DIEGO
CUTION OF A CONTRACT AND AUTHORIZING FUNDS FOR THE PURCHASE OF A WATER TRAILER.
Whereas, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, has
FABRICATORS AND ACCEPTING A BID, AUTHORIZING THE EXE-
determined that it is necessary and in the public interest to rescind
the contract awarded to San Diego Fabricators for the purchase of a
water trailer;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the contract awarded San Diego Fabricators on May 8, 1979,
Purchase Order No. 03646, for the purchase of a water trailer is hereby
rescinded.
3. That the bid of Nixon-Egli Equipment Co,; 12030 Clark Street;
Santa Fe Springs, CA 90670, is hereby accepted and the City Manager is
hereby authorized to execute a contract in the amount of $4,997.90.
4. That Department of Finance Fund Transfer No, 27 on file
in said department and incorporated by reference herein is approved.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council
on the 4th day of December , 1979, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Packard, Skotnicki, Anear, Lewis and
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
