A RFrsoLuTIoN OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF cafll;sBAD, CALIFOIWIA, DENYING
A CLAIM AGAINST THE: CITY.
WHEREAS, on December 13, 1979, George Folgner, through his attomey,
filed a claim against the City of Carlsbad in the amunt of $1,000,000; and
e, State law requires that the City Council consider all
claims and take action to approve, approve in part, or deny said claim;
NOW, T€EREFOF?Z, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad as follcrws:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City Council has considered the facts and circumstances
of the abovedescribed claim.
3, That the City Council hereby denies said claim.
4. That the City Attorney is directed to forward a cow of this
resolution to the c1ai"t and to the City's insurance carrier and to
qly with all other notice requirements provided by law.

Carlsbad, Califomia at a regular reeting held on the 2 n d day of J an u ar v
