RESOLUTION NO. 6077
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHOR-
IZING THE ClTY CLERK TO INVITE BIDS FOR THE INSTALLATION
OF TRAFFIC SIGNALS AND LIGHTING AT EL CAMINO REAL AND
TAMARACK AVENUE, CONTRACT NO. 1079
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has determined it is
necessary and in the public interest to install traffic signals and lighting at
the intersection of El Camino Real and Tamarack Avenue; and
WHEREAS, plans and specifications for the furnishing of all labor, materi-
al, tools, equipment, transportation and other expenses necessary or incidental
for said project have been prepared and filed in the Engineering Department of
the City of Carlsbad and are incorporated by reference herein;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council as follows:
1. The above recitations are true and correct.
2. The plans and specifications as presented are hereby approved.
3. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and di-
rected to proceed to publish, in accordance with law, notice to contractors
inviting bids for Contract No. 1079 in accordance with the plans and specifica-
tions hereinabove referred to.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
at a regular meeting held the - 5th day of Februarv , 1980, by the fol-
lowing vote, to wti:
AYES : Councilmen Packard, Skotnicki, Anear, Lewis and
NOES : None Councilwoman Casler
