HomeMy WebLinkAbout1980-03-04; City Council; Resolution 6104L 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 LO 11 12 15 14 15 1E 17 1E 19 2c 21 22 22 24 25 26 27 29 RESOLUTION NO. 6104 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING A CHANGE TO RESOLUTION NO, 5925. WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 5925 on September 4, 1979, which set compensation and vacation benefits for the City Manager and City Attorney; and WHEREAS, the City Council subsequently changed the City Manager salary by adopting Resolution No. 6066 on January 15, 1980; and WHEREAS, the provisions of these resolutions should be coordinated. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad as follows: 1. That the above recitations are true and correct. 2. That the salary Schedule for City Council appointed officials for the 1979-80 Fiscal Year shall be as follows: Effective February 5, 1980 City Attorney $1605 Biweekly City Manager $1692 Biweekly 3. That except as provided in this resolution, City Council appointed officials shall receive the benefits of the Executive Compensation Plan for Management Level 1 employees as adopted by Resolution No. 5885. 4. Section 7 shall not apply. Removal of the City Manager and City Attorney is controlled by Municipal Code Chapter 2.12 and 2.14 respectively. /// /// f 1 2 3 4 F U E 7 E I I( 3.: 1: 1: 11 l! 1( 1' 1' 1 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 5. Effective February 5, 1980, the City Attorney shall be luthorized to receive the amount of sixty-five dollars ($65) per ionth in lieu of coverage under the City's health and medical msurance plan. PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the :ity Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, held on the 4th day of March , 1980, by the following vote 20 wit: AYES: NOES: None Councilmen Packard, Skotnicki, Anear, Lewis and Councilwoman Casler ABSENT: None ATTEST: ALETHA L.
