RESOLUTION NO. 6128
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNC I L OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING BIDS AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION
OF CONTRACT NO. 1079 FOR THE INSTALLATION OF TRAFFIC SIG-
NALS AND LIGHTING AT EL CAMINO REAL AND TAMARACK AVENUE
WHEREAS, bids have been received by the City of Carlsbad for installation
of traffic signals and lighting at El Camino Real and Tamarack Avenue, Contracf
No. 1079; and
WHEREAS, the low bid received for this contract was submitted by McCain
Construction Co;, Inc. of Encinitas in the amount of $53,800; and
WHEREAS, provision for funding will be made available prior to execution
of the contract for this project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carls-
bad as follows:
1. The above recitations are true and correct.
2. The low bid of $53,800 by McCain Construction Co., Inc. for Contract
No. 1079 for installation of traffic signals and lighting at El Camino Real and
Tamarack Avenue is hereby accepted and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized to execute a contract therefor after receipt of funding.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council at a regular meeting
held the 1st day of Aoril 1980, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Packard, Skotnicki, Anear, Lewis and Councilwoman
