RESOLUTION NO. 6308
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHOR-
IZING THE ClTY CLERK TO INVITE BIDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF
A STORM DRAIN ON OCEAN STREET AND CEDAR AVENUE - CONTRACT
NO. 1086
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has determined it is
necessary and in the public interest to construct a storm drain on Ocean Street
and Cedar Avenue; and
WHEREAS, plans and specifications for the furnishing of all labor, materi
als, tools, equipment, transportation and other expenses necessary or inci-
dental for said project, Contract No. 1086, have been prepared and are on file
in the Engineering Department and are incorporated by reference herein;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carls-
bad as follows:
1. The above recitations are true and correct.

The plans and specifications as presented are hereby approved.
The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and di-
rected to proceed to publish, in accordance with law, notice to contractors
inviting bids for Contract No. 1086, in accordance with the plans and specifi-
cations hereinabove referred to.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
at a regular meeting held the 7th day of October , 1980, by the follow-
ing vote, to wit:
AYES : Council Members Casler, Anear, Lewis and Kulchin
NOES : None
ABSENT: Council Member Packard
