RESOLUTION NO. 6 3/ 2
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING BIDS AND
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF CONTRACTS FOR
THE PURCHASE OF OFFICE FURNITURE
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California
as follows:
1. That the bid of Raymond Allyn Business Supplies; 332 A Rancheros
Drive; San Marcos, California 92069, for Items 11, 13, 16, 17, 19 as shown
in Exhibit A, is hereby accepted and the City Manager is hereby authorized
to execute a contract for the purchase of office furniture in the amount
of $1,390.17, plus tax, for a total of $1,473.58.
2. That the bid of Southwest Business Interiors; 1055 South Escondido
Boulevard; Escondido, California 92025, for Items 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10,
12, 15, 18 as shown in Exhibit A, is hereby accepted and the City Manager is
hereby authorized to execute a contract for the purchase of office furniture
in the amount of $7,916.00, plus tax for a total of $8,390.96.
3. That the bid of Lewis and O'Neill Office Furniture, Inc.; 3102 San
Luis Rey Road; Oceanside, California 92054, for Items 1, 4, 14, 20-100 as
shown in Exhibit A, is hereby accepted and the City Manager is hereby authorized
to execute a contract for the purchase of office furniture in the amount of
$22,037.00, plus tax, for a total of $23,359.22.
4. That Transfer No. 16 is hereby approved transferring $2,500.00 from
the Contingency Account to Account No. 1-106-3900.
