RESOLUTION NO. 6374
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THAT CERTAIN AGREE-
MENT WITH BIRD, FUJIMOTO & FISH TO PROVIDE FOR MILEAGE
ALLOWANCE
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, does hereby resolve
as follows:
1. That Amendment No. 1 to that certain agreement between the City of
Carlsbad and Bird, Fujimoto E Fish providing for the addition of mileage
compensation to the existing consultant agreement, attached hereto marked
Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by reference, is hereby approved.
2. The Mayor of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed
to execute said agreement for and on behalf of the City of Carlsbad.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council
of the City of Carlsbad held the 2nd day of December , 1980, by the fol-
lowing vote, to wit:

AMENDHENT NO. 1.TO THAT CERTAIN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY
PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE MUNIC-
!PAL SWIMMING POOL ON MONROE AVENUE SOUTH OF BASSWOOD STREET -_I_
OF CARLSBk'tD AND BIRD, FUJIMOTO AND FISH FOR PROVISION OF
- .- THIS AENGMENT, made and entered into as of the day of
1 %.-. , by and between the CITY OF CARLSBAD, a municipal corporation (herein-
after referred to as "City"), and BIRD, FUJlMOTO & FISH, a California corpora-
tion (hereinafter referred to as "Consultant), does hereby amend that certain
ag'reement between the City and Consultant for provision of plans and specifi-
cations for the construction of the municipal swimming pool on Monroe Avenue
south of Basswood Street, dated April 16, 1380, by the addition of the fol-
lowing clauses to Article XI!:
"Mileage shall be compensated at the rate of $14 per round trip to
the City. The City will not pay the Consultant for mileage in ex-
cess of one trip per \\reek unless specifically authorized by the
City.
"No payment for either mileage or the consultant's construction and inspection services shall be made unless the work is invoiced
by the Consultant and approved by the City."
