RESOLUTION NO. 6405
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD ACCEPTING THE PROPOSAL OF THE PUBLIC
AGENCIES DATA SYSTEMS FOR THE PURCHASE OF A
COMPUTER SYSTEM; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF THE
SYSTEM AND TRANSFERRING FUNDS.
WHEREAS, the City did distribute a Request for Proposal on
lay 12, 1980 to various vendors of computer systems, and
WHEREAS, the Public Agencies Data Systems, a Joint Powers
Lgency, did respond to the Request for Proposal, and
WHEREAS, after significant review by the City's consultant
md staff, the Public Agencies Data Systems proposal has been
letermined the most suited to provide the requested services to
:he City, and
WHEREAS, a transfer of $13,260 will be necessary to support
:his purchase for fiscal year 1980-81, and
WHEREAS, the Revenue Sharing Fund balance will be reduced
from $692,269 to $679,009 by this transfer;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that:
1. The proposal submitted by the Public Agencies Data
;ystems is hereby accepted, and the Mayor is hereby authorized to
3nter into an agreement with the Public Agencies Data Systems for
said computer system (contract on file with City Clerk).
2. That Fund Transfer No. 32 , on file with the Finance
Director transferring $13,260 from the Revenue Sharing Fund
Dalance to Account No. 22-170-3045 is approved.
