HomeMy WebLinkAbout1981-01-20; City Council; Resolution 6427\ . 4 4 5 6 7 8 g 10 11 12 13 1 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad finds that there is a need on the part of the City and the community to establish an official, responsible, community-oriented within the City government to act as advisory to the City Council of the social environment of the City, and the Needs Assessment of Human Services to better provide public safety and welfare to all the people of Carlsbad; and WHEREAS, effortsof said body will be to assist Council in clarifying the role of Human Services in Carlsbad; THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad hereby 2 3 15 16 17 . 18 19 20 A RESOLUTION FO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING FORMATION OF SECTION 1. . There is hereby created the Human Services Advisory Committee of the City of Carlsbad. The committee shall consist of five(5) members. Said members shall serve at the pleasure of Council. The five(5) persons shall be community members-at-large. Efforts shall be made to represent a cross-section of the community. A HUMAN SERVICES ADVISORY COMMITTEE FOR ASSISTANCE IN CLARIFYING THE ROLE OF THE CITY IN PROVIDING HUMAN SERVICES 22 23 I resolves as follows: l4 /I 24 25 26 27 adequate provision of Human Services.
