RESOLUTION NO. 6601
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING BIDS AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION
OF CONTRACT NO. 1087 FOR CONSTRUCTION OF ALLEY IMPROVE-
MENTS BETWEEN MADISON AND ROOSEVELT SOUTH OF CHESTNUT
WHEREAS, bids have been received by the City of Carlsbad for the con-
struction of alley improvements between Madison and Roosevelt south of Chest-
nut, Contract No. 1087; and
WHEREAS, the low bid received for this project was submitted by Sim J.
Harris Company in the amount of $34,869; and
WHEREAS, funds are available for this project in Account No. 40-170-3709;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Caris-
bad as follows:
1. The above recitations are true and correct.
2. The bid of $14,869 for construction of the alley improvements betweer
Madison and Roosevelt south of Chestnut, Contract No. 1087, is hereby accepted
and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a contract there-
for.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
at a regular meeting held the 7th day of July , 1981, by the follow-
ing vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Menhers Packard, Casler, hear, Lewis and Kulchin
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
