RESOLUTION NO. 6864
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
EXECUTION OF THE SEVENTH AMENDMENT TO JOINT
EXERCISE OF POWERS AGREEMENT IN REGARD TO THE
SERRA COOPERATIVE LIBRARY SYSTEM.
WHEREAS, the City Council authorized the participation of the Carlsbad
:ity Library in the Serra Regional Library System in 1965 by execution of a
loint Exercise of Powers Agreement; and
WHEREAS, the agreement has been amended on six previous occas
iubstantive changes have occurred; and
WHEREAS, under Amendment seven Serra may employ or contract w
:ertified public accountant to perform routine account
‘unctions for the System.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Counci

1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City Manager of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized
and directed to execute said agreement on behalf of the City of
Car 1 sbad .
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Carlsbad held the
4th day of WY , 1982, by the following vote, to wit:
