HomeMy WebLinkAbout1982-06-15; City Council; Resolution 68951 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 0 18 I- 0 - 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 RESOLUTION NO. 6895 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN TO CHANGE THE LAND USE DESIGNA- TIONS FOR ONE AREA OF THE CITY'S GENERAL PLAN GPA-Gl(D). WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did on May 12, 1982 hold duly noticed public hearings as prescribed by law to consider amendments to the Land Use Element of the General Plan GPA-61(D); and WHEREAS, t..e Planning Director and the Planning Commission have determined that said amendments will not have significant impacts on the environment and Negative Declarations have been prepared and filed in satisfaction of the requirements of the City of Carlsbad Environmental Protection Ordinance of 1980 and the California Environmental Quality Act; and WHEREAS, THE City Council did on June 1, 1982 hold a duly advertised public hearing to consider said amendments and at said time received the recommendations, objections, protests and comments of all interested persons desiring to be heard; and WHEREAS, the City Council, after considering all proposed changes to the Land Use Element of the General Plan, directed the City Attorney to return with appropriate documents to allow the City Council to vote on the change individually as a part of one single amendment to the Land Use Element of the General Plan. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California as follows: A. That the above recitations are true and correct. 1s 2c 21 2% 23 24 25 26 27 28 B. That this resolution and resolution no. 6894 constitute a single amendment to the Land Use Element of the General Plan. C. That the findings of the Planning Commission as set forth in Planning Commission Resolutions No. 1951 (GPA-61(D)) constitute the findings of the City Council. D. amended as follows: That the Land Use Element of the General Plan is 1. GPA-61 (D) : Change the land use element to include certain property, in the Carlsbad sphere of influence, to wit: property generally located on the west side of Rancho Santa Fe Road approximately 600 feet north of La Costa Meadows Drive, as shown on the map marked Exhibit 2, attached hereto and made a part hereof. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of -I the Carlsbad City Council held on the 15th 1982 by the following vote; to wit: day of June AYES: NOES : council Pknbers Casler, and Kulchin ABSENT: None Council Mers Pahrd, Anear, and Ms ATTEST : -li&&zL4 ALETHA L.
