RESOLUTION NO. 6936
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING INTERIM SALARY PLANS FOR THE CITY FOR THE 1982-33 FISCAL YEAR.
WHEREAS, the City Council and the representatives of police
and fire employees are engaged in the process of meet and confer
regarding salaries for the 1982-83 Fiscal Year; and
WHEREAS, it is unlikely that the meet and confer process
will be concluded before the start of said year, and it is desirabl
to continue negotiations past that date; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary in order to adopt a preliminary
operating budget to establish an interim salary plan;
NOW, THEREFOW, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the Compensation Plan for police and fire
employees for Fiscal Year 1981-82, as adopted by Resolutions
No. 5954 and No. 5956, are hereby adopted as the interim salary
plan for 1982-83 Fiscal Year.
3. That a permanent salary plan for the 1982-83 Fiscal
Year is unfixed and will not be determined until meet and confer
processes are concluded.

PASSED, APRPOVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad at a regular meeting held on the 29th day of
June, 1982, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES : Council Members Casler, Lewis, Kulchin and Chick
NOES : None
ABSENT: None
