RESOLUTION NO. 6977
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD SETTING FORTH PROCEDURES FOR PAYMENT OF ATTENDANCE FEES TO CARLSBAD REPRESENTATIVES TO THE ENCINA JOINT ADVISORY COMMITTEE TO THE JAC ADMINISTRATOR.
WHEREAS Section 17.2 of the Basic Agreement as amended by Section 7 of
the 7th Supplement to the Basic Agreement between Carlsbad and Vista Sanitation
District sets forth attendance fees for representatives to the Encina Joint
Advisory Committee and,
WHEREAS the representatives may be appointed from the Council, Staff or
the general pub1 ic and,
WHEREAS staff are full time paid employees of the City and receive com-
pensation for such attendance as a part of their total compensation and
WHEREAS the return of and accounting for staff attendance fees reimbursed
back to the City Treasury are an unnecessary administrative cost.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
1.
apppointed officials only of the City of Carlsbad.

The JAC Administrator is directed to pay attendance fees to elected and
City Staff members appointed as JAC representatives shall not be paid

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Carlsbad, California, held on the 17th day of August
1982, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Menbers Casler, Lewis, Kulchin, Chick and Anem
NOES : None
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN :
