SUPR. 42 - SERGEANT 4 POLICE DEPARTYXNT SALARY SCHEDULE AUGUST 1, 1982 THRU JUNE 30, 1982 BI/WEEKLY The bi-weekly salary range for the positions of POLICE CAPTAIN and POLICE LIEUTENANT are established and administered as follows: POLICE CAPTAIN 1131-1376 POLICE LIEUTENANT 1017-1236. The City Manager shall have authority to determine the salary for each employee within the salary range established for each position. The salary level within the salary range shall be reviewed annually on the employee's anniversary date. Salary adjustments shall be made at the discre- tion of the City Manager subject to any limi- tation or controls imposed by the City Council. During the 1982-83 fiscal year, no employee shall receive a salary increase in excess of seven percent except for merit increase on anniversary dates.
