RESOLUTION NO. 7026
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING
THE PURCHASE OF FURNITURE AND SHELVING FOR
THE ADDITION TO THE CHILDREN'S LIBRARY AND
THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS FROM THE CONTINGENCY
RESERVE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has determined that it is
iecessary to purchase furniture and shelving for the addition to the Children's
Library; and
WHEREAS, funds are available in the contingency reserve;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. The Purchasing Officer is hereby authorized and directed to proceed to
publish in accordance with law, notice to vendors inviting bids for furniture
and shelving for the addition to the Children's Library.
3. That Department of Finance Fund Transfer No. 12 in the amount of
$10,000.00 on file in said department and incorporated by reference is approved.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad at
a regular meeting held on the 5th day of October , 1982, by the following
vote, to wit:
