RESOLUTION NO. 7041
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA ENCOURAGING THE LOCATION OF AN HMO FACILITY IN THE TRI-CITY AREA
WHEREAS, some employees of the City of Carlsbad desire to
have a Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) in the Tri-City
area, and
WHEREAS, residents of the Carlsbad community also wish to
have this optional health care available:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad, California as follows:

That the above recitations are true and correct.
That the City Council encourages the location
of a full service HMO hospital facility in the Tri-City area so
that the resident citizens will have a choice of health care
concepts.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Carlsbad held the 19th
October , 1982, by the following vote, to wit:
