RESOLUTION NO. 7058
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD
AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS FOR THE CITY'S PARTICIPATION IN THE REGIONALIZATION PLANNING STUDY FOR FIRE PROTECTION WITH THE CITIES OF OCEANSIDE AND VISTA AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad desires to participate in the regionaliza-
tion planning study for fire protection with the cities of Oceanside and
Vista; and
WHEREAS the City will share in the cost of this study in an amount not
to exceed $5,000; and
WHEREAS funds for this study are available from the contingency fund
which will be reduced from $1,033,722 to $1,028,722 by this transfer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad as follows:
1. The transfer of $5,000 is hereby approved from the contingency
account to the fire department administration budget.
2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement
with the cities of Oceanside and Vista to prepare the above mentioned
study .
3. That Department of Finance Fund Transfer No. 29 on file in said
department and incorporated by reference herein is approved.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council
of the City of Carlsbad held the 9th day of November 1982 by the
following vote, to wit:
AYES : Council Members CAsler, Lewis, Kulchin, Chick and Prescott

ABSENT: None
