HomeMy WebLinkAbout1982-12-21; City Council; Resolution 71041 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 LO I1 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 RESOLUTION NO. 7104 A,WSOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF C RLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, CREATING AND ESTABLISHING THE ORDINANCE 1255 REVIEW COMMITTEE WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1255 was approved by the voters of the City of Carlsbad at a Special Municipal Election held on November 2, 1982; and WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1255 provides that guidelines may be developed to implement said ordinance; and WHEREAS, the formation of a committee would provide the desired review of the guidelines prepared for implementation; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as follows: 1. That the above recitations are true and correct. 2. That a Review Committee shall be formed consisting of five members appointed by the City Council, Council 1-r Kulchin and I-IqOr Casler. 3. That the Review Committee will review Ordinance 1255 implementation guidelines and prepare a written report for the City Council with their recommendations. 4. That the City Council will have the authority to appoint, replace, and remove members. 5. That the Review Committee will be terminated within 12 months of its first meeting or upon adoption of implementation guidelines, whichever comes first. 6. That appointment to the Review Committee is a voluntary position and does not entitle the members to any compensation or reimbursement for expenses. 7. That the following persons are hereby appointed to serve as members of the Ordinance 1255 Review Committee: Will Hall Pat 0' Day A.J.
