HomeMy WebLinkAbout1983-02-01; City Council; Resolution 7124RESOLUTION NO. 7124 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE CIRCULATION ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD TO CHANGE THE ALIGNMENT OF PROPOSED LOS MONOS ROAD, GPA-66(B). WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California has directed that the Circulation Element of the General Plan as adopted by City Council Resolution No. 3664 be amended to meet present and expected future circumstances in the City; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did on December 22, 1982 adopt Resolution No. 2060 recommending to the City Council an amendment to the Circulation Element of the General Plan be approved; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, on January 18, 1983, held a public hearing to consider the recommendation and heard all persons interested in or opposed to the amendment of the Circulation Element of the General Plan - GPA-66(b); and WHEREAS, said amendment has been declared to have a nonsignificant impact on the environment and a Negative Declaration was prepared and filed November 22, 1982 in compliance with the requirements of the City of Carlsbad Environmental Protection Ordinance of 1980 and the California Environmental Qualiity Act, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California as follows: 1. That the findings of the Planning Commission as set forth in Planning Commission Resolution No. 2060 constitute the findings of the City Council in this matter. 3. amended as follows: That the General Plan of the City of Carlsbad is A. A revised circulation element is hereby adopted as shown on Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated by reference herein.
