HomeMy WebLinkAbout1983-05-03; City Council; Resolution 7204i- ., 1 48 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 e 9 1c 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 RESOLUTION NO. 7204 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING FEES FOR THE EMERGENCY MEDI CAL TRANSPORTATION SERVICE PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 6.06 OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE. WHEREAS, Chapter 6.06 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code establishes an emergency medical transportation service for the City of Carlsbad and authorizes the imposition of a fee on the users of such services; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined an appropriate fee schedule for such services. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad as follows : 1. That the above recitations are true and correct. 2. That the following fees are hereby established for thc emergency medical transportation service: A. B. C. D. E. F. G. H. City of Carlsbad resident .... Second Family Member ...... Third Family Member ....... The maximum fee for one resident 1 resulting from the same incident .... .... .... mily .... Victims classified as dead on arrival or City employees whose illness or injury results from their City employment ... Non-resident .............. Each Non-resident Family Member ..... The maximum fee for one non-resident family resulting from the same incident .... $ 55.00 $ 30.00 $ 15.00 $100.00 No Fee $130.00 $130.00 $260.00 3. That all fees established hereby are due and payable on the day the service is rendered and are delinquent after 60 days. authorized to take any appropriate measures to collect delinquent fees. The City Manager is PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City Council held on the -3rd day of May , 1983 by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Chick and Prescott NOES: Council Member Casler ABSENT: None GY CASLEF$Mayor ATTEST: 3
