RESOLUTION No. 7230
RESILUrION DECLARING INlENTION CF THE CITY CF MSBPD,
CALIFORNIA. TO FUND BRIDGE WIDENING PROJECT.
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, does hereby resolve as follows:
MEREAS the State of California has requested a ccnmitmnt of the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad to the bridge widening project at Palmar Airport Rod and 1-5.
WEREAS the City of Carlsbad desires that the project be included in the State
Transportation Improvement Progran, being suhittd for doption by the California
Transportation Departmnt, that the Council declares its intent to fwd all project costs for
the proposed interchange frm one or more of the available sources, hich are:
1. City Public Facility Fees, 2. A Special Assesmnt District, 3. Developer Contributions, and
4. Federal Monies available (HI3 6211)
The Council also declares its intention to contract for the construction of the
bridge during the Five-Year State Transportation hprwmnt Progran period (Fiscal year
1983-1988), with a target date of 1985 to be set for beginning of construction subject to
availability of funding.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad at a regular
meeting held the 7thday of June , 1983, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council lvlfPnbers Casler, Lewis, Kulchin, Chick and Prescott
NOES: None
