RESOLUTION NO. 7326
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, DIRECTING THE CITY ATTORNEY
TO PREPARE AN IMPARTIAL ANALYSIS OF THE
PROPOSITION PERTAINING TO THE PUBLIC SAFETY CENTER.
WHEREAS, a Special Municipal Election is to be held in t
City of Carlsbad on November 8, 1983, at which there will be
submitted to the qualified voters of said City, the followin1
Proposition, to wit:
Do the voters of the City of Carlsbad approve spending $
million dollars to build a Public Safety and Service Cen
on City owned land? The center will include police and
headquarters, shops and service yards, parking, offices,
purchasing warehouse and fire station. Funds for the pr
will come from $3.5 million in tax funds previously set
and the balance will come from fees on new developments.
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to have an impartial
analysis prepared showing the effect of such Proposition on
existing law and showing the operation of the Proposition;

ci NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, DECLARED, DETERMINE
AND ORDERED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad as
follows:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 5011 of lthe
Elections Code of the State of California, this City Council dloes i
direct the City Attorney to prepare an impartial analysis of t
Proposition.
