The center will include police and fire headquarters, shops and service yards, parking, offices, a purchasing warehouse and fire station. This measure does not authorize any new taxes nor increase any existing taxes. No phase of construction will be started unless sufficient funds are on hand. 1: 2( 2: 2: 2; 21 21 21 2' 21 YES NO RESOLUTION NO. 7334 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING RESOLUTIONS NO. 7323, 7324, 7325 AND 7326 RELATING TO A SPECIAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD IN SAID CITY ON NOVEMBER 8, 1983 BY REVISING THE WORDING OF THE QUESTION TO BE SUBMITTED TO THE ELECTORS OF SAID CITY AT SAID ELECTION. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California has by adoption of Resolution No. 7323 called a special municipal election to be held in said city on Tuesday, November 8, 1983 to submit a question relating to a public safety and service center to the electors of said city; and WHEREAS, the City Council now decides to revise the wording of said question; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California as follows: 1. The above recitations are true and correct. 2. That Section 1 of Resolution No. 7323 is amended to revise the question to be submitted to the electors of the City of Carlsbad at the special election to be held on November 8, 1983 to read as follows: 3. That Resolution No. 7324 requesting the Board of Supervisors to conduct said election is amended to revise the question to be submitted to the voters to read as specified in this resolution. 4. That Resolution No. 7325 authorizing members of the City Council to file a written argument regarding a City measure is amended to revise the question to read as specified in this resolution. 5. That Resolution No. 7326 directing the City Attorney to prepare an impartial analysis of said ballot measure is amended to revise the proposition to read as specified in this resolution.
